Speak Up! Panel Project Series

This is TEAM’s discussion panel project series, which allows TEAM to outreach, educate, and enhance dialogue on human rights.  This program is scheduled to be upgraded in 2012.

TEAM Policy Program

This is the work that TEAM does around policies as it pertains to enhancing, advancing, and defending human rights.  TEAM outreaches to educational organizations, faith-based organizations, and government agencies to create inclusive policies.

  • Bullying Policy Work- to establish all-inclusive anti-bullying policies in our school districts.
  • Ordinance Studies and Work- TEAM is one of the organizations that worked on the Holland, MI nondiscrimination ordinance.  TEAM experienced moderate success in its Policy Program geared towards ordinance work on the municipal level.

TEAM Diversity and Inclusion Program

This is TEAM’s forthcoming Diversity and Inclusion Program, which will focus on Racial Equity and LGBT Equality.  More information coming soon!

TEAM Education Network (TEN)

The TEAM Education Network is a forthcoming educational network that strives to cover TEN human rights topics annually through a variety of community events, outreach, and educational services.

TEAM Disaster Relief Services

TEAM was founded in 2009 and has been unable to provide advanced disaster relief services until presently.  However, TEAM was challenged with providing disaster relief services to the July 2011 Grand Rapids, MI mass murder victims and families.  TEAM was the organization that put together the candlelight vigil for the Grand Rapids community.  However, due to not having federal tax-exemption 501(c)(3) status at the time, TEAM had to outreach to the American Red Cross to coordinate disaster relief services.  TEAM was successful in its outreach efforts to the American Red Cross.

Other

TEAM endlessly encourages collaboration.  TEAM is constantly encouraging mobilization, collaboration, and advanced partnerships.  TEAM spent 2010-11 assisting LGBT organizations in West Michigan build stronger connections and partnerships.
