General Human Resources Information

  • If a prospective employee submits a Letter of Recommendation to you:
    • Letters of Recommendation must have a date from 2011 and onward, and must be signed by President Chris Surfus.
  • If you are a previous employee/volunteer of TEAM:
    • Previous volunteers and employees of TEAM must contact President Chris Surfus at president@teamwmi.org if seeking a Letter of Recommendation and/or to use as a professional reference.
  • If you are an employer and your candidate has worked for TEAM previously:
    • Information available to you about the candidate would be start dates, end dates, and wage/salary information only.  Currently, all employees/volunteers of TEAM are strictly volunteers.

Diversity

We are an EEOC compliant organization.  We have a world-class, 21stCentury nondiscrimination policy.  We embrace diversity and have an Anti-Harassment Policy as per the TEAM Organizational Bylaws and Collective Agreements.  All employees/volunteers of TEAM are subject to Diversity Training, as per President Chris Surfus’ guidelines.

Organizational Bylaws and Collective Agreements

This is one of our primary organizing documents.  All directors, employees, and volunteers are required to adhere to the Organizational Bylaws and Collective Agreements.  Agreements comprised within the Collective Agreements include the following:

  • TEAM Confidentiality Policy
  • TEAM Board Meeting Policy
  • TEAM Ethics Policy
  • TEAM Legal Policy
  • TEAM Conflict of Interests Policy
  • TEAM EEOC Policy
  • TEAM Anti-Harassment Policy
  • TEAM Dress Code Policy

Participation as a director, employee, or volunteer is contingent upon agreement to all TEAM Collective Agreements.  Directors must sign the Organizational Bylaws AND Collective Agreements.
