FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Oct 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Today, the Michigan Diversity Council announced the appointment of representatives from sponsor organizations Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, KPMG, Michigan First Credit Union, MRM Worldwide and Wayne State University, to its Advisory Board.
“The addition of these six passionate leaders will serve to diversify our board and allow us to improve our efforts to support Michigan professionals and create a forward-thinking, inclusive business environment,” said MIDC president, Lora Vinande. “They are each bringing an invaluable wealth of knowledge and resources to our team and I am thrilled to welcome them, and their respective organizations, to the Michigan Diversity Council.”
Rebecca Dioso is a Human Resources Manager at KPMG.
Fay Ghoujeghi is the Director of Technical Project Management and IT Operations at MRM Worldwide.
Victor Green is the Director of Community Relations in the Office of Government & Community Affairs at Wayne State University.
Cassandra “Sandy” Harvey is the HR Training & Development Leader at Michigan First Credit Union.
Terry Margolis is the Director of Educational Outreach and Executive and Professional Development for Wayne State University.
Stefanie Thornton is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
These individuals are joining existing board members Lora Vinande of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, Dana Davis of PSI Corp., Kurt Maaske of Butzel Long, W. Jean Tennyson of the University of Michigan and Dennis Kennedy, CEO of the National Diversity Council.
